About Driftwater, Tasmania
Driftwater is located close to Deloraine in the beautiful Meander Valley in the central north of Tasmania, Australia. A leisurely 40 minutes drive from Launceston airport or Devonport ferry terminal and only 3 hours from Hobart will have you at the door.
Driftwater boasts boutique accommodation in a purposely renovated century old homestead surrounded by magnificent gardens. Enjoy the ambience of the premises or pick up your rod and head out on the water.
Need a break from fishing... Driftwater is the perfect base to explore other treasures that Tasmania has to offer - hiking Cradle Mountain, long lunches over a glass of wine at a nearby winery or cast your eye over artworks in local galleries to name a few.

Driftwater was born from their passion for fly fishing and desire to share their skills and knowledge of this great fishery with others.Inspiration for Driftwater came from the many and varied destinations they have fly fished together from Alaska through to Tierra del Fuego, New Caledonia, Kiribati and Europe.
